Cardiac Arrest Rates Improve

Out-of-hospital cardiac arrest affects approximately 300,000 individuals in North America annually, with an incidence of treated out-of-hospital cardiac arrest of approximately 56 per 100,000 person-years.

With the help of general public, survival rates have increased thanks to public CPR education and the prevalence of AEDs.
