About Us

We operate a fleet of 20 vehicles and have approximately 100 personnel to handle our nearly 14,000 annual calls for service. We are staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week regardless of whether it’s a holiday or there is inclement weather. In addition to our volunteers, we have a career staff comprised of full-time and per diem EMTs and paramedics.

Agency Structure

CHS Mobile Integrated Healthcare, Inc. is a private not-for-profit organization that operates as an independent 501(c)(3) agency. We are governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and managed by an Operations Staff who oversee the volunteer & paid staff members including EMTs and paramedics.

Our members come from all walks of life. Many are paid EMTs and paramedics. Others are nurses, engineers, students, and even assembly-line workers. Some members have used CHS as a stepping-stone to further their careers in medicine. Some of our former members are now doctors, nurses, PA’s, and administrators for large EMS agencies.

The care rendered to each of our patients is overseen by Jeremy Cushman, MD, who acts as CHS Healthcare’s medical director, and as the medical director for Monroe County.
