CHS CEO Recognized as Business Person of the Year

CHS Mobile Integrated Healthcare CEO Reg Allen was recently recognized as Business Person of the Year by the Henrietta Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Allen joined CHS (then Henrietta Ambulance) in July 2007 and has led the department through tremendous growth since that time including:

  • Transition from Henrietta Ambulance to CHS Mobile Integrated Healthcare
  • Attaining Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Service (CAAS) accreditation
  • Establishment of blood pressure clinics around the town of Henrietta and surrounding communities
  • Addition of free CPR training classes for residents
  • Launch of a program that assists area businesses with purchasing an AED
  • Oversight of a community paramedicine program through a partnership with UR Medicine
  • CHS has been named EMS agency of the year four times during his tenure and has been awarded the Heart Association Mission Life Line award for the past five years.

CHS currently employs 88 people and continues to offer volunteer opportunities for local residents.

Reg serves as a member of the Chili Volunteer Fire Department; International Association of EMS Chiefs; Henrietta Chamber of Commerce President (2015-2019); Monroe Livingston EMS Council (Treasurer 2013-2015; Chairman 2015-2019); and most recently has been elected to the American Ambulance Association Board of Directors in 2018.

CHS Mobile Integrated Health Care (CHS MIHC) provides emergency medical services (EMS) and associated integrated healthcare services to the residents of southwest Monroe County (NY) and northwest Livingston County (NY) including: Henrietta, Chili, Scottsville, Caledonia, Mumford, York, Wheatland and Rush. The non-profit agency responded to over 10,800 requests for EMS in 2018.
